A couple of weeks ago my brother Josh came out and stayed with us for about a week. We had a lot of fun. We did all sorts of activities. It was a busy week we did everything from the movies to sushi to paint balling.
Thanksgiving
This year we ate at my Aunt Ashlee's house. The food was soooo yummy! I think my favorite was the smoked turkey. I made garlic buttermilk mashed potatoes. They were delicious. I also made sweet potato pie, I am sad to say it wasn't that big of a hit. It was good but I think people were more scared to try it. I made it for Aaron and he liked it so I guess that is all that matters. I love Thanksgiving and this year it was defiantly a good one. We defiantly have A LOT to be grateful for.

My Weekend Project
So this weekend I decided I was going to make Aaron and I matching Christmas Stockings. They turned out so cute! I absolutely love them. It was way super easy. (Once I got going)

On Thursday all the girls in my family went and saw New Moon. It was too much fun. We all made shirts and my grandma bought everyone New Moon scarves to wear. We bought our tickets for a Team Edward themed theater. Courtney and I personally wanted Team Jacob but we got overruled. But needless to say every time Jacob was on screen shirtless I would say the theater was Team Jacob :) I loved the movie! Of course though the movies will never compare to the books. We all had fun taking pictures. I cant wait to go see it again and again and again.

So this year for Halloween I was in charge of the party for Aaron's family. We did a murder mystery dinner. It was such a blast I didn't know what to expect. It was called Deadly Ever After. The characters consisted of Sherlock Holmes, Red Riding Hood, Alice, Prince Charming, The Count, Wicked Witch, Rapunzel, The Mad Hatter, Hamlet, Juliet, Snow White, Robin Hood, John Silver and Katherine from the Taming of the Shrew. It was a lot more work than I thought it would be, but I had fun buying all of the decorations and putting it all together. It turned out so good. Everyone did awesome on their costumes. Thanks everyone for coming! And a special thanks to Ashlee and Jason for bringing the tables and chairs!
